The Coryell Courts Apartments called asking for help with a honeybee issue. They wanted to save the bees and to make sure they were rescued professionally. Since there was no access from the outside, we had to go through a tenets ceiling.
Luckily she was a local student and had just moved in so there wasn’t much to move out of the way. We are very careful to not to leave a mess or disturb the tenets any more than necessary. In this case she got some honey and was pretty happy. Then bees were in the joist space between apartments and the joists were actually open web floor trusses. This gave us room to work and rescue this young colony of bees.
